ARG! The not counting on list, aka the personal torture by anticipation list. Also add to that the final volume of the Obernewtyn Chronicles by Isobelle Carmody. ASOIAF fans can suck it, because we've been waiting for this one since 1987.
ReplyDeleteHa, sadly I'm not counting on the third Rothfuss book being out either.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to the read along of Words of Radiance. I've been aching for that book ever since finishing The Way of Kings.
Great list, hopefully we get R. Scott Bakker's Unholy Consult as well...
ReplyDelete@Josh - Yeah, that wins. I think Melanie Rawn is going for a record in that regard too. I have the first two and I've been debating jumping in. Maybe if I read it more will come (in a field of dreams sort of way).
ReplyDelete@Carl - WoK made me mad he was working on WoT. I didn't care about him finishing that, I wanted more Stormlight.
@Cursed - Yeah, I debated that one. I have all his books but the newest and haven't read a single one.
