That makes 39 books of which I've at least read something in the series and an extra 17 that I own and waiting in the TBR pile.
I don't think there's much on this list that wasn't expected. Some books just seem like they're on there because everyone's read it in English 101 and that's a bit disappointing. I'm sure plenty of people don't agree with many of the picks(like WoT or SoT), but I agree with most of the 39 I've read being on there.

Your post really helped me to understand the How Many Have You Read? - NPR Top 100 Science Fiction and Fantasy. It has great details and yet it is easy to understand.
That's what I was looking for. I will definitely share it with others.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for posting this list. I did not know about this NPR project.
As a side note, I think that Margaret Weis' and Tracy Hickman's 'Dragonlance Saga' should be listed among the top 100. While the trilogy is not a literary masterpiece, it has had a significant influence in the field (of fantasy/sci-fi).
Anthony
I've read all or at least part of 39 of the 100 titles on there.
9 of the top 10.
17 of the top 25.
26 of the top 50.
Clearly I have impeccable taste.
@Anthony - Good point. I haven't read it, but I'm sure it's influenced plenty of people and authors.
@Ryan - Clearly. :) I like the breakdown, too.
I'm 8, 13, and catch up to you at 26. :)
Clearly we both have impeccable taste.
Indubitably. I guess I can trust your reviews now too. :D
Roughly half to two thirds. Although there are some that I look at and say: "I think I read that"... but I can't remember what its about.
There are so many good books on the list. Wish I had more time to read...
