Review - Betrayal: A Demon Squad Story by Tim Marquitz

This is actually two short stories, Betrayal and Prohibition Black and Blues set in the Demon Squad universe, which is an amazing series that you should really read, especially if you like Urban Fantasy, hilarity, and a healthy amount of action. (Reviews: Book 1, Book 2)

Betrayal [Kindle] [Smashwords - Free] is a lead up to book 3, At the Gates. Usually this series is from the perspective of Frank Trigg (Triggaltheron), but Tim decided to go for a new perspective here, Frank's cousin Scarlett... and it totally works.

She's an angel and her story takes place up in heaven. Let's just say, I can't wait for At the Gates. Something's hitting the fan and it will be awesome.

Prohibition Black and Blues is a great tale, back in Frank Trigg's hands. Frank is working with his uncle, Lucifer, during the 20's and shows his dealings with the mob. Awesome. The more I read, the more I want to find out.

Both are a great read and extremely short, so you will definitely want to read them. Worth it for fans and as a first look at the series.

4 out of 5 Stars (Loved it)
